Trek Log: 002 - Holo Drills and Borg Trills
Well, Starfleet has finally done it. After six whole weeks of non-stop drill, I can honestly say that I am without a doubt... sick of the damn holodeck. They say it's a fleet wide effort to up our readiness, but Starfleet has been laying it on real thick. I haven’t had to train this hard since the Academy, and I ain’t gettin’ any younger. I’m hurting all over, and I’m not the only one. Command has really been running us through the grinder; Tactical Sims, Espionage, First contact, Engineering, Diplomacy. Sims with Klingons, Sims with Romulans. Hell we’ve been tackling a drill that contains those "Neural Parasites" that the captain of the Flagship ran into a couple years back! I wish they’d give us a break... maybe run us through one of those uh, Ferengi programs I’ve heard so much about? Yeah right. I guess if we run into holograms out there, we'll know just what to do.
